ADVANCE NOTES

Biffle at Charlotte

Biffle has 25 starts at the 1.5-mile track, earning six top-five and nine top-10 finishes.

Biffle in the Coca-Cola 600

Greg Biffle honored his second cousin, Private Dean VanDyke, whose name was displayed across the windshield of the No. 16 Ford with a second-place finish in the Coca-Cola 600.  Biffle was a constant figure in the top 10 for the longest race of the year and in the end was able to stretch fuel mileage to earn his best finish of the season in what was also his 450th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start.

Pink

Biffle’s No. 16 Roush Performance Ford Fusion will be pink this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway in honor of Breast Cancer awareness month.  In addition to the pink themed car, Biffle will also wear pink driving shoes and gloves.

Cruise for a Cause

The “Cruise for a Cause” decal will be located on the rear quarterpanel of the No. 16 this weekend.  The foundation’s mission is to bring the message of hope to those who need it and along the way find the finances to cure it.  They use a Shelby GT500 as a mobile billboard to spread the message.  For more information visit: http://www.cruise4acause.org/

Biffle on Charlotte:

“It’s always nice to race at Charlotte.  It is good to race in our backyard and I’ve had some luck at Charlotte.  We had a good run there earlier this year, finishing second in the Coke 600 and racing our way into the All-Star race. We’ve made some gains lately so I feel confident going into this weekend.”

Puccia on Charlotte:

“Charlotte is one of my favorite tracks on the circuit and I have a lot of good memories there.  We had a good run in the Coca-Cola 600 finishing second and we also had a good showing in the Show Down, winning segment one and racing our way into the All-Star.  We’ve got some good notes to go off of from the spring and I’m ready to race under the lights Saturday night.”
