Keselowski, Buescher Qualify 17th and 28th in Daytona 500 Qualifying 

 

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 16, 2022) – Brad Keselowski covered the 2.5-mile famed Daytona International Speedway in 50.169 seconds to qualify his No. 6 Kohler Generators Ford P17 in Wednesday night’s Daytona 500 qualifying. RFK teammate Chris Buescher turned a lap of 50.378 to qualify his Fastenal Ford P28.

 

Keselowski will compete in Duel No. 1 on Thursday, starting ninth. Buescher will race in Duel 2, rolling off 14th.

 

Thursday night’s Duel Qualifying races will determine starting position for the remainder of the field, with the green flag dropping on Duel 1 at 7 p.m. ET and Duel 2 at 8:45. The Duels will be broadcast live in FS1.

 

Sunday’s Daytona 500 is set for 2:30 p.m. ET and will be televised live on FOX. Jack Roush’s Fords have won the Daytona 500 twice (2009 and 2012) and Buescher finished third in the famed event two seasons ago.
