Majeski talks Iowa on ‘Jack’s Garage’

CONCORD, N.C. (June 14, 2018) – Ty Majeski is back behind the wheel of Roush Fenway Racing’s iconic No. 60 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this weekend in Iowa. Before traveling to the Midwest, he sat down for a conversation about the upcoming race with Claire B. Lang on ‘Jack’s Garage.’

“I’m really looking forward to Iowa,” Majeski said. “It’s a place I’ve been to so I know what to expect going in.”

In just two starts at the track in the NXS series, Majeski managed to qualify inside the top-10. Although the driver didn’t quite end up with the results he wanted, he plans to improve upon those stats with the help of No. 60 crew chief, Mike Kelley.

“Mike Kelley has had great success there in the past.” Majeski explained. “I know we’re looking at a little notes and going back to some stuff that he did and had success there with Ricky Stenhouse and Trevor Bayne in the past. I’m really optimistic and looking forward to turning around the 60’s luck this weekend and giving it a good run.”

Majeski returns to the track at Iowa Speedway on Sunday, June 17 at 5 p.m. EST. To hear the full segment, listen below. Be sure to tune into “Jack’s Garage” on “Dialed In” every Wednesday on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio at 7:30 p.m. ET.
