Roush Fenway Drivers Bubba Wallace and Ryan Reed to ‘Take Over’ @RoushFenway Twitter Handle during the Duels

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 22, 2017) – Roush Fenway Racing drivers Bubba Wallace and Ryan Reed will provide their insight to @roushfenway fans during each of Thursday evening’s Can-Am Duels at Daytona, which will set the field for Sunday’s running of the Daytona 500.

The team’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Trevor Bayne will both take part in the first of two 60-lap races from the ‘World Center of Racing’.  Stenhouse will start seventh, while teammate Bayne starts 10th.

Wallace will live-tweet the first duel, using #BubbaTakeover, while Reed will take the reins for the second duel, using #RyanTakeover.  Fans that want to ask Wallace or Reed questions can participate using the respective hashtag.

In addition to answering fan questions and providing insight as the duel races unfold, Wallace and Reed will update Roush Fenway’s Instagram story with their unique viewing perspective.

Roush Fenway has one duel win, coming with Matt Kenseth in 2012.  Kenseth would go on to win the Daytona 500 that year.  In 101 duel starts, Roush Fenway averages an 11.6 starting position and an 11.4 finishing position.  In addition, Roush Fenway drivers have tallied 24 top-five finishes in the duels, while leading a total of 196 laps.

Roush Fenway drivers Bayne and Stenhouse will take the green flag in the first duel on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
