Roush Fenway Racing Announces Pit Crew Takeover
CONCORD, N.C. (May 26, 2018) – Roush Fenway Racing is giving fans a behind the scenes look at all the action for Sunday’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway through the eyes of a pit crew member. No. 17 Fastenal Ford team tire changer, Kale Uphoff will take over the team’s Instagram Story for pre-race activities on May 27, 2018.
Fans can expect to get an inside look on how the pit crew prepares for the race. From their pre-race meal to setting up the pit box, the work begins well before the first pit stop. There may even be some special gusts from the No. 6 Wyndham Rewards team.
The takeover will continue into the race, with exclusive looks at all the work on pit road that goes into helping cars complete the grueling 600-mile race. Uphoff will provide a unique commentary on the job of a pit crew member before and during the race.
Tune into 600 miles at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 27 at 6 p.m. EST on FOX.
