Roush Fenway Racing to Host Annual Fall Fan Day on October 8
Concord, N.C. (Sept. 30, 2015) – Roush Fenway Racing will host its annual Fall Fan Appreciation day at its home base in Concord, N.C. on Thursday, October 8. The event is open to the public and will include autograph sessions with Roush Fenway’s Cup and XFINITY drivers, as well as Jack Roush.
“We love our fans here at Roush Fenway Racing,” said Roush Fenway President, Steve Newmark. “These fans are always cheering on our drivers at races all over the country and their support never waivers. Fan Day here at Roush is the perfect opportunity to show them how much we appreciate them. This event gives us the means to welcome them to our home here, show them around, and to let them meet the drivers that they are so passionate in supporting.”
In addition to autograph sessions, there will be a ‘Driven for the Cause’ photo booth set up where fans can snap selfies to show their support for breast cancer awareness. Fans are also encouraged to download the Early Detection Plan app to help remind them to regularly schedule exams for early detection of breast cancer.
The retail store and museum will be open to fans, where they can take advantage of sales promotions to win items autographed by the Roush Fenway drivers. In addition various Roush Fenway partners will be on hand sampling products
SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will host a live broadcast during Fan Day on their popular Mid-Day Drive show with hosts Jim Noble and Chocolate Myers; The Roush Fenway drivers and Jack Roush will be featured as quests.
Roush Fenway fans are invited to take part in the event through social media, using the hashtag #RFRFanDay. This hashtag will give fans a behind the scenes look at the annual event through social media platforms Periscope and Twitter.
Autograph session tickets will be distributed at 8:00 a.m. and are available only through a first-come, first-served format.
Autograph sessions will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Jack Roush and NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Greg Biffle, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Trevor Bayne. Roush Fenway’s NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers Chris Buescher, Bubba Wallace and Ryan Reed will start their autograph session at 11:30 a.m.
