Inside ‘Jack’s Garage’ with Nick Sandler
CONCORD, N.C. (Jan. 16, 2018) – Claire B. Lang is back with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio’s “Jack’s Garage” segment on her show “Dialed In.” The award-winning host’s segment gives fans an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Roush Fenway Racing before the cars hit the track.
The show’s second airing of the year brought Director of Engineering, Nick Sandler to the hot seat. Sandler discussed the team’s main focus for the upcoming 2018 season and whether or not he missed being a crew chief.
“We’re still focused on improving our mile and a half program,” Sandler said. “We feel that we’re certainly pretty strong on the superspeedways. We made some gains on the short track program, we made some gains on the intermediate speedways, the mile and a half stuff. We’re just not where we want to be there.”
