Kevin Kidd discusses Bayne’s Atlanta troubles on ‘Jack’s Garage’
CONCORD, N.C. (March 2, 2018) – Kevin Kidd joined Claire B. Lang just before the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) took to the west coast for this week’s episode of “Jack’s Garage.”
The competition director discussed everything from Trevor Bayne’s blown engine from last weekend’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway to preparations for the next race in Las Vegas.
“This issue was one that was highly unexpected,” Kidd said. “The part of the engine that failed is one that’s got a lot of miles over the past few seasons worth of running and it was something that’s been durability tested time and time again. We’ve spent a lot of time this week digging into this one and really figuring out what happened.”
