#RFRTruckin Returns for Trip to Bristol

RFR Social Channels to Highlight Team’s Partnership with Navistar throughout Journey to Bristol

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 21, 2021) – Roush Fenway’s #RFRTruckin campaign returns this weekend as the team highlights its journey to Bristol Motor Speedway, and along the way will highlight the features of its International trucks via its team partnership with Navistar.

Fans can tune in to RFR’s social channels throughout the day Friday, where the trip to Tennessee will be documented as the haulers leave the team’s facilities, making a stop at a Love’s Travel Center along the way, before ultimately arriving at Bristol Motor Speedway ahead of Saturday night’s 500-lap race from ‘The Last Great Colosseum (7:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN).

International, who manufacturers the Lonestar trucks that power Roush Fenway’s Mustangs to the track each week, has 720 dealer locations across the country, almost twice as many as its nearest competitor. Throughout the journey on Friday, RFR’s channels will highlight key benefits of the Lonestar trucks and how they stand out amongst their competition.

This will mark the sixth #RFRTruckin trip, with the team most recently documenting its journey from Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, to Phoenix Raceway in the spring of 2020. In 2016 the team was awarded a Platinum MarCom Award in the Social Media Campaign category for its efforts around that trip. As an added element, this week is also #NationalTruckDriverAppreciationWeek, which RFR also highlighted earlier this week on social.

The team haulers will head to Bristol Friday morning and arrive later that day before parking inside Thunder Valley Saturday morning prior to the NASCAR Cup Series race. In addition to highlighting International’s key features, RFR will take an inside look at the hauler drivers as they prepare and hit the road, with Q&As and interactive coverage throughout. All followers are encouraged to engage with the journey and learn about the often unseen elements of a NASCAR weekend.
